                          its ymmm easy  recipe you can eat with potato salad or green salads

                                            Prep time 10 mins Cook time 55 mins

  • 4 Chicken quarters or 8 drumsticks
  • 75ml (3fl oz) tomato ketchup
  • 15g soft brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 cloves of Peeled and crushed


step 1  Preheat the oven to 200c/400F, Slice through the skin of the
           chicken leg,then arrange in roasting pan.Roast for 30 minutes.Pour
           the excess fat out of the tin.

step 2  Whisk together the ketchup,sugar,honey,lemon juice,and garlic.
           Brush the mixture over the chicken and cook for a further 25 minutes
           ,basting a couple of times with the cooking juices.until it begins to caramelize.

step 3  Check that the chicken is cooked through the juices should run out clear when 
            the thickest part of the leg is pierced with a skewer.
