Spanish rise for diet

  •  Rice: a cup and a quarter
  •  Olive oil: a large spoon
  •  Red pepper: 2 tsp (ground)
  •  Oregano: three-quarters of a small spoon (dryer)
  •  Garlic powder: half a teaspoon
  •  Cumin: a teaspoon


1. Put the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

2. Add chopped tomatoes, garlic powder, oregano and heart for 2 minutes.

3. Add rice, red pepper, cumin and chicken broth and mix to boil.

4. Reduce the heat and cover the pot and leave for 25 minutes until the rice is cooked.

5. Serve hot with salad, meat or chicken as desired.
